- Determine the target and select component types and grades. - Develop ratios of the casings and flavours that complement the total blend

Cut rag blends processing performed on the primary processing line of our company includes the following stages:
- Feeding leaf tobaccos through a vibratory conveyor to the conditioning cylinder where they are conditioned and cased.
- Filling moistened raw materials into one of the vacant blending boxes where the leaf is being blended and stored within 2-4 hours.
- Feeding raw materials through the pneumatic conveyor to the cutters KT-2.
- Feeding cut rag to high temperature drying unit HDT where it is re-conditioned, expanded and dried.

- Cut rag cooling in a special cooling unit and its additional separation from dust.
- Flavouring cut rag blend in the flavouring cylinder.
- Blending and storage in blending silos of final products.
- Packing final products into C-48 cases with net weight from 80 till 100 kilos depending on a grade of a blend.
